Marcella Mae (Mrs. Perry) Stevens, 50, 101 Thunderbird Drive, died of natural causes Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Marshalltown Manor. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Sunnyside Temple Church in Waterloo. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories in Waterloo.

Born Dec. 22, 1938, in Iowa City, she was the daughter of Harold and Gertrude Moore Augustson. She married Perry D. Stevens Jan. 1, 1957 in Waterloo. She and her husband pastored Sonrise Wesleyan Church in Marshalltown.

Surviving are her husband, Rev. Perry Stevens; two sons, Andrew Stevens, Houghton, N.Y., and Charles Stevens of Marshalltown; three daughters: Sandra Christen, Freeport, N.Y.; Marie Frey, Stevens Point, Wis.; and Lisa Stevens, Cedar Falls; and four grandchildren. Also surviving are her parents of Waterloo; two brothers, Robert Augustson, Montrose, Cob., and Tony Augustson, Waterloo; and a sister, Nancy Lorsung, Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Scott Stevens, on July 2, 1988, and a brother, Richard, in 1965.
