Wendy L. Andersen, 50, of Gilman City, MO passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.
She was born April 19, 1965 in Manchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of Charles and Theresa (Costello) Cole. They preceded her in death.
On July 25, 1992 she married Marvin Andersen in Princeton, MO. He survives at home.
She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at local nursing facilities. She was a city Alderman in Gilman City, MO and was an avid animal lover, especially horses.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents.
Survivors in addition to her husband, Marvin, include sons, Chad Ryan (Michelle) Cole, Gilman City, MO, Adam Christopher Smith, Norfolk, VA, and Corey Dillon Andersen, Gilman City, MO; nephew, Tanner James Sims, Bethany, MO; niece, Jordan Cole; brothers, Mark Robert (Chris) Cole, Manchester, NH, and John (Rebecca) Cole, Page, TX; sister, Kelly (Tim) Kollanda, Gilman City, MO; and 5 grandchildren, Dillon, Alec, Kaden, Mitchell, and Isaac.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery, Melbourne, MO.
