Brenda Fay Pritt Thornton, 71, of St. Albans, formerly of Sissonville, passed away on November 8, 2015 at Valley Center surrounded by her loving children.
Brenda was born March 19, 1944 to Charlie and Oma Pritt, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, John Thornton and wife, Kathy of St. Albans, Jennifer Thornton of St. Albans, and Matt Thornton and fiancée, Deelight of Waianae, HI; grandchildren, Jason of St. Albans, and Mason, who is due to be born the day after Christmas, Joey of Cross Lanes, and Alexis of Waianae, HI; great-granddaughter, Emily of Ravenswood; and siblings, Wanda Stull and husband, Arden, Charles Pritt and wife, Sarah, Ann Whitney and husband, Jim, Gary Pritt and wife, Libby, Linda Sergent and Jan Breedlove and husband, Allen. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Pritt Cemetery, Derricks Creek, Sissonville.
