Roger Allen Snyder, age 75, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015. He was born February 5, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Okey and Irma (Berry) Snyder. He was a 1958 graduate of Groveport High School and was retired from American Electric Power. He was a member of the Wyandotte Athletic Club and attended Fellowship Baptist Church. Roger enjoyed being outdoors, doing yardwork, and watching the birds and squirrels. He also loved spending time family and friends. Roger is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sharon Snyder; children, Scott (Anne) Snyder, Kim (Larry) Trimmer, Wes (Eileen) Hatfield, and Mychelle (Ray) Hudnall; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Ron Snyder; and many other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be held 11 am - 1 pm Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment Obetz Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to Haven of Hope, 3100 Plaza Properties Blvd, Columbus, Ohio 43219.
