"The body of Mrs. Priscilla McGuire, whose death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rosa Chase, in Kansas City Tuesday afternoon, arrived at Chillicothe last night and was taken to the family home, 410 Mechanic Street, from which place funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. J.N. Boyd, pastor of the Elm Street Methodist Church. The body will be laid to rest in a marble tomb in Edgewood Cemetery. The deceased had lived in the home from which place the funeral will be held for the last fifty years.
She was the mother of Mrs. Clara Carr and Mrs. Lucy Phillips of this city. Three other daughters also survive as follows: Mrs. Mary Davis of Laredo, Mrs. Minnie Tisue of Waynok, Okla., and Mrs. Lloyd Phillips of Gage, Okla." The Chillicothe Constitution, August 21, 1919
