Clara Evelyn Stewart, 83, of Crossville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville.
She was born March 9, 1932, in Crossville, TN, daughter of the late Ralph and Mabel (Blaylock) Hamilton.
Evelyn worked in retail as a bookkeeper and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Cravens, Crossville; brother, Charles Hamilton, Cookeville, TN; nieces, Rebecca White (Mike), Huntington, WV, Gail Green, Patricia Dayton, Gwen Christopher and Meredith Hay (Gene); nephews, Tom Cravens (Ellen), Crossville, and Michael Bohannon (Violet); and great niece and nephew, Caroline and Gene Cravens.
She is also survived by many more great nieces nephews.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Franklin Stewart; precious son, James F. Stewart Jr.; and brother, Major Hamilton.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, with Bro. David Wilkerson officiating. Interment was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
