Fred Suhr, A well known resident of Albee township, died thursday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Louis Rottman, 421 S. Ninth street of diabetes, after an illness of two months. His home was in Albee an he came to to this city to the home of his daughter two months ago. He was born in Mecklinburg - Schwerin, Germany, May 1, 1847 and at the age of six years came to this country with his parents, direct to Saginaw, and had lived in this vicinity since. Jan. 5 1870 he was uninted in marriage to Miss Anna Novack of this city. For two and a half years he was a member of the old Saginaw police force, and 23 years ago moved to his farm in Albee. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Louis Rottman, Mrs. John Taugher, Charles, all of this city, Fred of Albee, 10 grand children and three great grandchildren.
