Minnie had been married to John Weber a scant few weeks when John died an accidental death in March of 1914. A year later, Minnie would marry John's younger brother, Henry (Harry). Harry and Minnie succumbed to the flu epidemic within days of each other in November of 1918. Their two daughters, Myrtle and Ethel Theresa, were retrieved by family from Ontario, and would live out their lives out there.
