Katherine "Kitty" Lee Jenkins, 72, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Houston, Texas. She was born November 23, 1942 in Sharon, Mississippi to George Max Lee and Evelyn Hayes Lee.

Kitty was a graduate of Delta State University and worked as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines during her early career. She was a homemaker for many years, and worked in higher education and retail sales before retiring. She loved spending time with her family and brought joy to their lives through her sweet, thoughtful ways. She will be dearly missed.

Kitty is survived by her mother; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Jansen and husband Jack, Katherine "Kitty" Cangelosi and husband John; brother, Max Lee; sister, Anne Schwerdt and husband Steve; 2 grandchildren, Allie and Noah Jansen; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, Texas with burial to follow in West Gethsemane Gardens in Rosenberg. Father Jamie Abercrombie will officiate. The Family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
