Dolores M. Jordan, 81, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born January 26, 1934, in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of John K. and Margaret E. (Boltz) Welch.

Dolores was a lifetime resident of the Kittanning area and was a member of the St. Luke's United Church of Christ. She was also a member of Hose Company #6 Ladies Auxiliary and worked the Fourth Ward Election Board. She was dedicated to caring for her family and the family pet, Pugs. Dolores loved going to the family camp and in her spare time, she was an avid reader and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and doing word search.

She will best be remembered for being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and always putting others before herself.

Dolores will be deeply missed by loving husband of 63 years, John W. Jordan; three sons, Richard L. Jordan and wife, Janet, of Ford City, William D. Jordan and companion, Rhonda, of Kittanning, and Brian K. Jordan and companion, Brenda, of Hickory, NC; a daughter, Susan L. Rupp and husband, Harlan, of Cowansville; grandchildren, Richard N. Jordan and husband, Eric, Jacia Jordan, Erin N. Wolfe and fiancée, Kenny, John M. Wolfe and wife, Kayla, Jessica L. Johnson and husband, Tom, Megan C. Jordan, Kelsey N. Jordan and fiancée, Tristan, Brianna J. Jordan, Samuel M. Rupp, and Desiree D. Rupp; great-grandchild, Nash D. Wolfe "Little John"; several nephews; and a sister-in-law, Effie Welch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard L. Welch.

At the family's request, services will be privately held.

Burial will be in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
