Obituary of Ryan Christopher Wilson
Ryan Christopher Wilson died peacefully at the age of 7 on Sunday, November 8, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ryan was a student of North Bay Elementary School. He loved school and was on honor roll. He enjoyed Call of Duty on his Xbox, Sponge Bob Square Pants, swimming, helicopters, homemade root beer and buttered popcorn. He will be remembered for being a mama’s boy and being tickled.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers Steve Wilson, Sr. and Raymond Quave; maternal great grandparents, Raymond and Jacqueline Lyons; paternal great grandfather, Henry Johnson, and paternal great grandparents, Albert and Claire Saujon.
He is survived by his loving and caring parents, Christopher and Kimberly Wilson; brother, Matthew Wilson; grandfather, Rod Johnson; grandmother, Sandra Hebert (Jeff Henderson); grandmother, Deanna Quave; paternal great grandmother, Evelyn Johnson; uncles Dan Johnson, David Wilson and Steve Wilson, Jr.; aunts, Missy Garrett and Marie Quave, and a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11-12 pm Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Father Bob Higginbotham at noon following visitation at the church.
The family would like to extend special gratitude and condolences to the following for their kind acts during this time: Oschner’s Pediatric Oncology Department, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, North Bay Elementary community, and special friends, family, and members of our community who have contributed to and loved Ryan through his battle.
