He was born in Missouri on June 21, 1935. His parents are Carl & Minnie Stone. His siblings are Larry, Everett “Toby”, Genny Desadier, Pat, Carl and many nieces and nephews. He married his best friend Rubye Inez Sewell on July 6, 1963 in Reno, Nevada. They had wonderful children: Lee, Shelly (Karl), Shawn, Ginger (Polecat), and their grandchildren Kellen, Karlee, Scott, Cory, Kodey and Willie. Their great-grandchild is McKara Lynn.
Bobby had a great deal of love for all — truthfully, anyone who walked through his doors. He helped anyone in need, especially the young adults he “adopted” as his own that filled his home because they enjoyed being around him. He worked at local sawmills for 25 years and was a baker for Latos Bakery in Eureka for many years, and liked to coach the girls’ softball team.
The family is grateful for all the help, love and care. Thanks also to Lincare, Hospice, Cloney’s and Broadway Medical.
There will be a celebration of life at the Eagles Club, 1317 California St., Eureka on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. It is a potluck, so feel free to bring a dish.
