She was born in Lima, Ohio on June 25, 1956 to the late William and Gail (Bricker) Dunbar. Diane graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors Degree in education and comprehensive social studies. She went on to teach in the Ohio City Schools System.
She was married in 1980 and her husband survives. She is also survived by a son and daughter; two brothers, and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Salem Evangelical Church, 230 E. Church St., Marion, OH. Pastor Patrick Street will conduct the service and burial will be at a later date.
Diane was a member of "Lupus Friends" and would like donations in her name to go to the Lupus Foundation of America.
