Billy Leon Ramsey, 70, of Tuckerman departed this life on November 6, 2015 at his home. He was born on September 28, 1945 in Newport, the son of Willie Ramsey and Audrey Bundy; he was raised in Old Glaise by Norman and Audrey Bundy and went to Newport School.

On December 20, 1996, Billy married Lena Thompson, the love of his life. He worked tirelessly as a farmer so that he could always provide for his family. They were his world.

Mr. Ramsey was an avid turkey and deer hunter and won many trophies; he also enjoyed going fishing; he had a great love for the outdoors.
Mr. Ramsey was a farmer, a great mechanic, a member of Midway Church of Christ, and loved his dog, Pepper.

His parents, Norman and Audrey Sutherland Bundy; birth father, Willie Ramsey; and one brother, Eric Bundy, preceded him in death.

Mr. Ramsey leaves behind his wife of 19 years, Lena; two sons, Christopher Ware of Key West Florida and Jonathan Ware and wife of Elizabeth of Swifton; two daughters, Amanda Scudder of Newport and Brandi Riley of Batesville; four grandchildren Kurt Ramsey of Texas, Paiton Reed of Newport, and Brooklyn Ware of Swifton, Lauren Williams of Texas; one great grandchild; one brother, Norman Bundy, Jr. of Tuckerman and one sister, Linda Fisher and husband Fred of Washington.

Friends may visit at the funeral home from 5:30 until 8:00 on Monday, November 9, 2015.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Thompson Cemetery.
