Methodist Preacher (circuit rider) in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Iowa. Married Eunice Upham on 10 May 1824 in Pittsfield, Vermont. Died in Fulton Township, Centre Grove, Muscatine County, Iowa, where he had been living with his son David on David's farm. The town of Centre Grove no longer exists, but census records show it was in Fulton Township of Muscatine County. Centre Grove used the Post Office in Durant of Cedar County. He is buried in nearby Davenport, Iowa where other children were living. His wife Eunice Upham is buried with him and both their names are on the stone.

Obituary: Muscatine Journal (submitted to them by West Liberty Enterprise) April 4, 1868:
"SUDDEN DEATH. -- We learn from the West Liberty Enterprise that Rev. F.T. Daily, of Center Grove, in this county, died suddenly a few days ago, while at work near his house. He was well advanced in years and highly respected by his neighbors."

They had 11 children. Children NOT linked here (until we find their graves) are:
---Mary W. Daly 1830-1831 (d Pittsfield, VT); and
---Wallace J. Daly 1837-1848 (d Pittsfield, VT).
