Timothy Daniel Dunn, Jr., 86, of Garland, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, with his daughters at his side. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2015, with the Rosary being said at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Garland, with burial following at 1 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Timothy was born in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Timothy and Mary Dunn. He served in the U.S. Army and served a tour of duty in Korea where he was awarded two Purple Hearts. On June 16, 1956, Tim married Dolores Eisele. He especially enjoyed anything and everything pertaining to the rodeo, John Wayne and Jeopardy. Some of his greatest joys were his trips to Las Vegas to see the National Rodeo Finals.

Tim is survived by his daughters: Marie Dunn, Theresa Belk, Kathleen Smith, and Elizabeth Mitchell; son, Timothy D. Dunn III and his wife, Estella; grandchildren: Adam Belk and his wife, Chesley, Christopher Smith and his wife, Sara, Craig Smith and his fiancée, Nichole Herrera, Brian Mitchell, and Kelsey Baker; great-grandchildren: Reeves Belk, Brody Belk, Jackson Smith, Grayson Smith, and Tyson Smith; sisters, Jean Fischer and Marie Dunn; nephew, George; nieces, Mary Ellen and Nancy; brother, Jack Dunn and his wife, Dale; other relatives and many friends.
