Gino was born in Hollywood, FL on February 22, 1974 to loving parents Lillian and Nicholas Risola. He grew up in Stamford, CT. Gino worked in the bar and restaurant industry for over 25 years, and as a training consultant for Homefront Protective Group Law Enforcement Training.

Married September 23, 2000, Brea and Gino were together for 20 years. Together they raised four beautiful children: Angelo, Desi, Gino and Joey. They lived in Arizona for many years and moved to Waukee in 2007.

Gino enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was a big part of his community. Gino accepted everyone into his life and considered them family. He offered stability and support to people among the community that needed a should to lean on. He was caring, kind, loving and beyond funny.

Gino was preceded in death by his father Nicholas and brother Nicky.

Gino is survived by his wife Brea and their children Angelo, Desi, Gino and Joey of Waukee, IA; mother Lillian (Lee) of Scottsdale, AZ; siblings Brijette and Nikki of Scottsdale, AZ; nieces Britain, Chloe, Ashlyn and Ella and nephews Corey, Kevin, Nicholas, Rocco, Matthew and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Gino Risola, age 41, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Iowa. Born on February 22, 1974 he was raised in Stamford, CT by his parents, Nick and Lillian Risola.

Gino resided in Stamford until he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona and met his lovely wife, Brea. He is survived by his wife Brea, his sons Angelo, Gino Jr., Joey his daughter Desi and many friends.

He is survived by his sisters Brijette Risola O'Brien and Nikki Ying, Chris Risola, his favorite uncle Joe Risola many nieces and nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his father Nick and his bother Nick Risola.

His most loved possessions in life were his children. Gino loved working on cars, being around good friends, and cheering people up. Gino was a gentle, kind hearted son, husband, father, relative, and friend. his one most important attribute was how he truly cared about people and always would go out of his way to help others.

Gino worked in the bar and restaurant industry for 25 years, and as a training consulatant for Homefront Protective Group Law Enforcement Training.

We will always reminisce about the great times and great stories. We are thankful that you still support us by watching over us each day. Anyone who got to know you that was in your life is a luckier person.

Gino will be sadly missed by his family and friends and by all those who knew and loved him.
