Pvt. Dustin L. Kreider of Riverton, Kansas attended Riverton High School before graduating from Cornerstone High School in Galena. He had some problems in his early years, but he could excel in school when he wanted to, and he was doing well in the military. He was only there about a month. He only needed a credit or so to graduate, so he wasn't there very long. He seemed focused on his goal of getting his diploma so he could get into the service. He is survived by his parents, Ron Kreider of Reeds, Mo., and Kimberly LeGore of Rivertown, as well as a brother and three sisters. He died at age 19 near Samarra, Iraq during a unit weapon test-firing incident.
