John B. "J.B" Alexander, 84, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 at Signature Health Care in Taylorsville, Kentucky. Born July 12, 1931 in Mercer County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Elbert Smith Alexander and Bessie Susan Bell Alexander.
J.B. was a farmer, worked in tobacco warehouses, and formerly worked at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. He was a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church and a KY Colonel.
J.B. is survived by a sister, Frances Casey of Lawrenceburg, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Opal Duncan and a brother, Tom Alexander.
Burial will be in the Hebron Cemetery, Anderson County, Kentucky
