Clara Lang, 99, of Canby, Ore, formerly of Monticello, died Jan 16, 2008 at Marquis Hope Village following a brief illness.
Funeral service on Jan 24 at Goettsch Funeral Home in Monticello. Burial in Oakwood cemetery in Monticello.
Surviving are two children, Roma (Lloyd) Shalin, Mesa, AZ and Ron (Virginia) Lang, Ontario, Ore, two grandchildren, DeAnn Rossetti and husband James Flack, Maple Valley, WA, and Kevin Semler of Elkhart, Iowa, a great grandson, Nicholas Flack.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William, a grandson, Phillip Semler and four brothers, George, William Paul and Richard Tuetken.
Clara Henrietta Tuetken was born Oct 17, 1908 in Lovel Township, Jones Co, IA the daughter of Henry and Anna Hanken Tuetken. She married William Lang on June 22, 1935 at the Westminister Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids. They farmed in Delaware Co, until they retired in 1977 and moved to Monticello. William preceded her in death on Aug 6, 1995. They had been married for 60 years.
