Accidental Death of Benjamin Holland
A sad accident happened Monday evening about 5 o'clock which caused the death of one of our well-known Lower Belt farmers. While on his way home from our city where he had been transacting business and while driving down Wright hill, Ben Holland was in some unknown manner thrown from his seat to the ground and when assistance arrived he was found to have been instantly killed, his neck being broken.
Interment was made in Sunnyside cemetery, near the home of the deceased, yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Holland's parents were natives of Norway and settled in Illinois, where he was born, from where they later moved to Iowa. Mr. Holland came to Montana 20 years ago and twelve years ago was married to Minnie Olson. To this union were born four children, all living, aged four to eleven years old.
Mr. Holland was 41 years of age. He was in life a progressive and hard- working farmer, a loving father and husband, and had a large circle of friends. His wife and children have the sympathy of the entire community in this their hours of bereavement.
