Edward Gene "Pepsi" Earlywine, age 55, husband of Irene Hickey Earlywine, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at his home, in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Born April 8, 1960, in Nicholas County, Kentucky, to Gracie Fryman Earlywine, of Carlisle, and the late Clarence Earlywine, Sr., he was the longtime maintenance manager for Ramsey Farm.

Also surviving are: six children, Angela Dee (John) Leonard, Larry (Nina) Earlywine, Wesley (Melissa) Earlywine and Leslie (Johnya) Earlywine, and their mother, Dora Livingood, all of Nicholas County, David Christopher (Christal) Terrell, of Lexington, and Joyce Anne (Rolando) Guevara, of Nicholasville; three brothers, Clarence (Donna) Earlywine, of Carlisle, Daniel Earlywine, of Cynthiana, and David Earlywine, of Florida; a sister, Melissa Chapman, of West Virginia; 14 grandchildren, Breann Livingood, Dustin Leonard Earlywine, Katlyn Earlywine, Emily Earlywine, Dillion Earlywine, Austin Earlywine, Adler Earlywine, McKenna Rice, Caden Rice, Christian Jagger, Colton Slade Terrell, Clayton Moody Terrell, Katlyn Irene Guevara and Joshua Edward Guevara; and a great-granddaughter, Chloe Doan. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ernest "Mousie" Earlywine.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. Saturday until the time of service.
