Mr. Steven Burnett Spears, age 55, of Villa Rica, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015.

He was born January 19, 1960 in Atlanta the son of Mr. Clyde Burnett Spears and Margaret Agnes Holladay Spears. Mr. Spears was a big philosopher of ideas. He loved drawing, woodwork, making people laugh and having a good time. Mr. Spears enjoyed spending time with his friends at Waffle House. He loved his family very much, and liked living “on the farm”.

He is survived by his father and mother, Clyde and Margaret Spears of Mableton; sister, Virginia “Ginger” Jones of Morrow; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Sharon Spears of Decatur, Thomas and Juana Spears of Villa Rica; nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Kendrick Kimble of Stockbridge, Chris and Kannika Goode of Morrow, Ryan Spears of Decatur, Joshua Spears of Villa Rica, Katie Spears of Villa Rica; four great nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and extended family also survive.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 2:30 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery.
