FUNERALS – Memorial service for Robert T. Sellars Jr., 81, of Highland Ranch, Colo., formerly of Decatur, is 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur is handling arrangements.

Robert T. Sellars, Jr. passed away July 22, 2015 at the age of 81 in Highlands Ranch, CO. Robert was born in Decature, Texas to parents Johnnie Mae and Robert T. Sellars Sr. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, of Highlands Ranch, CO, daughters of Denver, CO, of Mead, CO, and of Centennial, CO; Grandchildren, brother of Santa Fe, NM, and sister of Decatur, Texas. Robert received his Ph.D. from Tulane University in 1966 and worked for Kerr McGhee, Louisiana Land, and Exploration Club Oil and Gas. He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists and AAPG. Robert enjoyed the outdoors by golfing, fly fishing or hiking. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church 1270 Poplar in Denver, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Association of the Rockies, 1325 S Colorado Blvd #204, Denver, CO 80222, or the charity of your choice.
