LeRoy Hahn, 90, of Gerald, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 near Gerald.

LeRoy was born in Leadwood, Jan. 3, 1925, to the late John R. and Lena (McClain) Hahn.

He was united in marriage to the late Fredia Mary Eckhoff, Oct. 17, 1947 in Potosi.
LeRoy served his country with the United States Army from 1944-1946, receiving the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, World War II Victory Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of Local 562 Pipe Fitters Union.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Zelda Oswalt; grandsons, Brian Oswalt and Lindel Hahn II; brothers, Orville Hahn and two brothers in infancy; and sister, Beulah Baker.

LeRoy is survived by his daughter, Trudy Murphy of Bland; sons, Daniel Hahn and wife Vickie of Sullivan, Lindel Hahn and wife Karen of Mohrsville, Pa., Carey Hahn and wife Tammy of Temple, Pa., and Terry Hahn and wife Kathy of Gerald; sisters, Lillian Bradley of Festus and Loretta Nosser of St. Louis; son-in-law, Charles Oswalt of Gerald; and by 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 30 at
Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Rev. Terry Knight officiating.

Burial was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union with full military honors.
