Mrs. Jennie Birmingham
Mrs. Jennie Birmingham, 77, of 211 Charles Street, whose husband, John Birmingham, died April 22, died early this morning in Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for 47 days. She was a daughter of the late Mathew and Elizabeth (Haggerty) Flanagan and has been a resident of Cumberland for 45 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Mrs. Birmingham is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Rudy, Mannlngton, W. Va.; Mrs. Elizabeth Kerns. Baltimore, and Mrs. Agnes Vane Valentine, Long Beach, Calif and one brother, William Flanagan, Chicago. The body will remain at the Kight Funeral Home until the hour of the services.

Birmingham Rites
A requiem mass for Mrs Jennie Birmingham, 73, of 211 Charles St, who dies Thursday in Memorial Hospital, was celebrated yesterday morning in St Patrick's Church by Rev John Lyness, associate pastor. Rev Lawrence J Kilkenny, pastor and Rev Charles W Brogan, pastor of St Mary's Church, Lonaconing were in the sanctuary. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were: A S Rowe, H L Payne, Dennis Mankamyer and J E Brode.
Her maiden name is also spelled Flannigan and Flanigan, and probably several others.
