Mr. Mark Norman Chambers, age 53, of Fountain Inn, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015.

Mr. Chambers was born in Union, November 1, 1962, a son of Shirley Clendenin Haney of Union and the late James N. Chambers, Jr. He was a graduate of Union High School and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Chambers was a volunteered with the Hill Top Fire Department, the Spartanburg County EMS, the Red Cross and Meals on Wheels. He was a former member of FOP and was a Mason.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a step-father, William Haney, Jr. of Union; a daughter, Mary Beth Chambers of Spartanburg; two sons, Mark N. Chambers, Jr. and girlfriend Mary Eleanor Kelleher of Spartanburg and Dyrell Chambers of Boiling Springs; four sisters, Holly Patterson and husband Michael, and Joy Chambers all of Union, Pamela Moore and husband Mike, and Melody Wilt and husband Chip all of Rock Hill; three brothers, Charles David Chambers and wife Nancy of Buffalo, James N. Chambers, III and wife Shannon of Spartanburg and Timothy Chambers of Union; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Mr. Chambers was formerly married to Mary Marquis Chambers of Spartanburg

Graveside Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 8, 2015, at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Robert Branch. Visitation will be held 1:30 until 3:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605 or to the Carolina Raptor Rescue Center, 6000 Sample Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078

The family is at the home of his sister, Holly and Michael Patterson, 311 Lakeside Drive, Union, SC 29379.
