Ray Bennett, age 85, of Blaine, crossed over from this life to enter into Heaven on November 3, 2015. Ray was known with greeting everyone with a hug and never forgetting you.

Preceded in death by his parents, W.C. Bennett and Alice Bennett; brothers, Mal (Birdie), Aubrey (Ines), Bill (Louise), Carrroll (Kathleen), Sam, Wayne, and Hoy; sisters, Myrtie (Lillard) Mincey, Ruth (Otis) Woods, and Bertha (Edward) McGinnis. Survived by many nieces, nephews, the Blaine Community, and all of his Sertoma Family of Caregivers and friends who where his family for 27 years.

Family will receive friends on November 6, 2015 at McCarty- Evergreen Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. funeral service to follow. Mark Kitts officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. on November 7, 2015 at Block Springs Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. Interment. Pallbearers include: Roy Troutt, Dale Jones, David Munsey, and Sertoma friends.
