Died, Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at her home in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She was born on June 26, 1927 in Floyd County, Kentucky the daughter of Calvin and Francis (Sloan) Caudill. On December 31, 1947 she married Kenneth E. Yates in Pike County, KY. and he preceded her in death in 1976. She always had a special love for her family and cooking. Survivors include two children: Anna June (Earl) Gyde of Newberry, Michigan and Diane (Roger) Cook of Ypsilanti, Michigan; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two sisters: Dorothy Hall and Lizzie Caudill as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jackie Yates
