Northfork, WV- Daniel Ray Lambert, 73, of Eckman Hollow, Northfork, WV, passed away Saturday October 31, 2015 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born April 20, 1942 he was a son of the late Velmer Lambert, Sr. and Minnie Duncan Lambert.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons; Mitchel and Troy Lambert, and two brothers.
Mr. Lambert was a member of the Church God, had proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, self- employed in the construction business and had been a resident of Eckman, WV most of his life.
Survivors include a great- niece; Desiree Mitchem of Bluewell, a brother; Leroy Lambert of Portland, OR, three sisters; Donna Lee Ainsworth, Sally Lambert, Jean Lambert all of OH, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Lambert will be conducted Wednesday November 4, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cravens –Shires Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Abram officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery located in Bluewell where the Mercer County Veterans Council will provide Military Grave-side Honors. Friends and family members will be serving as pallbearers.
