Mrs Eugenia Walton Lee, 88, died Wednesday at her residence.
Funeral will be at 3pm at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Carroll Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Robert Lee, B R Lee, Jr., Jimmy Union, Al Lee, Samuel Lee, A G Dempsey, Richard Lee and Ralph Lee.
Mrs Lee was born in Alabama, a daughter of the late Doran Monroe and Elizabeth Hayden Walton. She was a member of the St George Baptist Church and was a member of the Woodmen of the World.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Willie Dempsey of Anderson, Mrs Katherine Union of Macon, Ga; six sons, Cecil Samuel Lee of Augusta, Ga, Monroe Jacob Lee of Greenville, Albert Lee of Orangeburg, Benjamin Ralph Lee of Cayce, Edward Lee of Pomona, Calif., and Herman Lee of Greenville; on brother Babe Walton of Portsmouth, Va; 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
