DANVERS – (PNS) – Mrs. Virginia Staubus, 86, died at 3:15 a.m. Friday at her home in Danvers, where she had lived for 19 years.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at her home and a 3 p.m. at the Danvers Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Irvin Ruklic will officiate. Burial will be in West Twin Grove Cemetery.
She was born July 28, 1859, in Dry Grove Township, a daughter of Samuel and Pricilla Brown Deal. She married to Steven [Stephen] Staubus Dec 24, 1874. He died in 1896.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ike Dunlap, and a son, Christian C. Staubus, both of Danvers; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
One son and one daughter preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Danvers Presbyterian Church.
