Sally J. Swanson, 72, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility. She was the daughter of Edward "Buster" and Anna Mae (Brousseau) Kossow. Sally was raised in Perkins and graduated from high school. She then worked for the telephone company and later worked at many odd jobs through her working years. Sally raised her children and also many foster children. She was a dedicated member of AA for over 30 years, was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed crocheting, cards, playing cribbage, knitting and baking.
Sally J. Swanson is survived by: children, Carolyn (Dale) Pelto, Kevin (Kathy) Swanson, Joyce (Kevin) Fraker; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, six sisters, Lois Bussineau, Nancy Herzog, Mary Ann Foster, Cindy (Doug) Gawne, Linda (Fred) Britton, Susan (Frank) Kossow; three brothers, Bob Kossow, Tom Kossow, Fred Kossow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers Jack, Pete, and Ed and sister, Beverly.
