Geraldine “Jewell” Watson, 81, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015.
She was born on April 14, 1934 to the late Jim and Nellie Holloway. She was a native of Madisonville, TN and member of New Beginning Fellowship Church in Cleveland. Jewell loved the Lord and loved to sing gospel music. She also loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with all her heart.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Watson and J.L. Raper; and one son, Charles Daniel Watson.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Wise; grandchildren, Douglas Wisdom, Lisa Morrow (Bobby); great-grandchildren, Emery Wisdom, Ethan Wisdom, Dylan Harvey and Lauren Harvey; great-great-granddaughter, Hallie Grace; and several cousins, extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Rev. Josh Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Chestuee Methodist Cemetery.
