A native of Spartanburg County, son of Paul Wilson Melton of Spartanburg, and Glenda McGarity Melton of Boiling Springs, he was an employee of Home Depot and a member of Lyman Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are his wife, Deana Howard Melton of the home; three daughters, Brooke Melton Flaishans of Spartanburg, Madison Clayton and Mackenzie Melton both of the home and one brother, Tony Melton of Boiling Springs.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Scott Williams and Rev. Tom Boland. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Wood Mortuary.
