Leonard Clayton Powell, 82, of Fullerton, Calif., was brought home to rest in the family plot in Pima Cemetery on Oct. 24, 2015.
His family was there to say goodbye at the gravesite service by Elder Kemp Crockett.
Leonard was one of six children born to Floyd E. Powell and Zepher V. Clonts Powell.
Surviving are: his wife of 57 years, Judith Ann Crockett Powell; four children, Debbie and Doug Shaw, of Fullerton, Tim and Bronagh Powell, of Chandler, Lisa and Mark Romanelli, of Templeton, Calif., and Cheryl and Dana Hunter, of Parker.
Leonard served his country with a tour of duty in the Army during the Korean War, and later was a fireman and then inspector for Los Angeles County, Calif., until he retired.
Leonard loved his family and was happiest when playing cards with them.
