Our dear aunt, Myrleen Evans Harrison, 83, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 1999 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Myrleen was born in Castle Gate, Utah on Nov. 21, 1915 to James Irving Evans and Belva Mae Hirst Evans. She loved her parents and sisters Virginia Evans Draper and Helen Evans who preceeded her in death. She married Alex William Harrison Dec. 24, 1936. He died Nov. 23, 1960. Myrleen was a talented, beautiful, bright woman who traveled all over the world. She was always thinking of others and had a generous spirit. Her memory will remain with us as we cherish the love and kindness she so freely gave. Myrleen recited daily the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi which reads..."it is in dying that we are born to eternal life."

She is survived by her nephew, James Arthur Draper (Marie) of Silver Spring, Maryland, niece, Kay Larsen (Gordon), Richard D. Menzies (Anne), Julie Draper van Vierssen (Marcel), Lori Draper-Smith (Brian), Michael Thomas Draper; 16 great nieces and nephews; and 31 great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 10, at 11 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
