SHAWNEE: Timothy Lee "Doc" Daugherty, 62, of Shawnee, passed away at 5:20pm on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the OSU Medical Center, Columbus.

He was born July 23, 1952 in Shawnee the son of the late Kermit B. and Ruth C. North Daugherty.

He was a member of the New Lexington Eagles Aerie #2070, was a U.S. Army veteran, serving as a medic. He was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast and loved riding his Big Dog motorcycle with family and friends, who knew him as Doc.

He is survived by two sons; two grandchildren; a brother, four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his nephews, Tim Blosser and PJ Soller; niece, Pam Blosser; brothers-in-law, Carl Hook, Bob Hammer and Danny Miller; and his best friend, David "Duck" Peyton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the J. E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, 118 W. Walnut Street, Shawnee, with Pastor Ed Harding officiating. Interment: Shawnee Cemetery where graveside military honors will be conducted by the Corning American Legion Post 327. Friends may call from 2-8pm on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the funeral home.
