Richard J. McCool, 65, died March 21, 2012. He was born Jun. 30, 1947, in Denver, Colorado, to William and Beverly McCool and was the oldest of three children, Richard, Stephen and Mimi. Richard attended Catholic Seminary in Oklahoma City. After moving to Colorado, he graduated from Colorado State University in 1970. In 1972, he married Patricia Kelley and became the father of Heather and Michael. In 1998 he married Connie Wagner, mother of Tara, Adrian, Brandon. He was a devout Catholic and used his talent as a guitarist to serve in the church. He loved airplanes, boating, fishing, camping, biking, skiing, racquetball and handball. He is survived by his wife, daughter, son, sister, two nieces, six grandchildren [survivors names omitted]. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 30 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1730 West 12th Street, Loveland.
