Larry Joe Prim was born January 16, 1943 to Jerry Joseph Prim and Euel Agnes Connor Prim in Bristow, Oklahoma. He went to be with the Lord at the family home in Depew on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the age of 71 years.
He lived his life around the Bristow and Depew area after graduating from Bristow High School in 1962. He was a Depew resident for over 30 years. He had worked for Kwikset and other factories in the area during his life. He was currently attending Depew Church of God and had an extensive knowledge of God’s word and truly loved to listen and play gospel music.
On December 18, 1990 Larry Joe Prim and Ruth Irene McLaughlin were united in marriage. Larry was a peacemaker with a forgiving heart. He had a great sense of humor and an infectious smile. He loved fishing, cooking, and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Prim of the Depew home; Seven children, Sarah Robinson and husband Dennis of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, Gina Prim Wilson of Covington, Virginia, Dewayne Prim and wife Tracy of Depew, Angela Phillips and husband Robert of Covington, Virginia, Joy LeAnn Prim King of Stillwater, Crystal Lynn Clark of Stillwater, Stephen Michael Bristol and wife of Tulsa, as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Wanda Mae Prim Mayberry.
