She was born March 4, 1923 in McCool to the late Sam and Maude McCool Leach. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in West Point. Mrs. Crossley was a caregiver to many of her family members. She loved all her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. Mrs. Crossley was preceded in death by her first husband, Irvin “Buck” Morgan, Sr. of West Point and second husband, Robert Clayton Crossley of Kosciusko and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015, at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in West Point with Reverend Sarah Windham officiating.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Lawson (Ralph) of Brandon and her son, Irvin Morgan, Jr. of West Point: four grandchildren: Cathy Westby-Gibson (Donnie) of Brandon, Michelle Moore (Brant) of West Point, Monte Morgan of Walls, and Christy Broms (Kristian) of Oak Park, California: seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Crossley’s family would like to thank Brett Miller, CFNP, for her care, Marie Morgan, her caregiver for so many years, and the staff of West Point Community Living Center.
