A single mother of three was killed Halloween night in a crash near Flagstaff as she was returning from a funeral.

Elizabeth Watkins was driving back to the Valley after attending a funeral with her three sons Saturday night, when her car collided with a semi just south of Flagstaff and rolled over.

The three kids survived the crash with minor injuries, but Watkins died almost instantly.

According to a family friend, the family dog was also in the car and was believed to have run off somewhere near Flagstaff. A search team spotted the dog Tuesday morning with the help of community members.

27 born Jan. 7, 1988 in Phx, Az. to Larry Russell Watkins and Deborah Anne Shinn Watkins. Elizabeth died on Oct. 31, 2015 in a car accident S. of Flagstaff, Az. She attended Maryland Elementary School and Washington H.S. Elizabeth loved music. She was an accomplished singer and musician performing around the valley. She has 2 CD's "Coming of Age" published at age 12 and "All I Ever Wanted" age 16. She loved playing the violin, piano and guitar. She felt honored to be invited to sing at Carnegie Hall with her H.S. choir. The other loves of her life were her 3 sons. She loved her boys and they always appreciated her sense of humor and love. She was a beautiful, talented, loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her beautiful photography can be seen on intoyouphotography.com One of her greatest accomplishments was composing the words and music to "The Angels are Watching Over You" for Aaron age 5 with brain cancer. She is survived by her 3 sons, Nash Russell 8, Maxon Jett 5, Carden Eli Landers 3 and their father Sidney Landers. Sisters Jennifer Lynn Presmyk (Kevin), Kathryn Marie Jenkins (Clifton) and parents Larry R. and Deborah A. Watkins. Services will be held at the LDS church 8710 N. 3rd Avenue Phx, Az.
