Joyce Davis Bradford, age, 81, passed away on November 1, 2015, at Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury. Born in Willards, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Dollie Smith Davis. She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Bradford, Jr. and children, Charles R. Bradford, III and his wife Sue of New Castle, DE, and Dawn Hoback of Dagsboro, DE. There are four grandchildren, Charles R. Bradford, IV and his wife Barbara, Julie Jones and her husband Chris, Stephanie Hoback all of New Castle, DE, and Dwayne Hoback of Dagsboro, DE, and nine great-grandchildren, Charles R. Bradford V, Brian Bradford, Brandon Bradford, Emily Jones, Jillian Jones, Serena Reed, Thomas Hoback, Brendon Hoback and Faith Hoback.
Mrs. Bradford had been a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Dennis Cemetery in Willards. Rev. Olin Shockley will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of the Burbage Funeral Home. Letters of condolence may be sent via: www.burbagefuneralhome.com .
