Martha Vaughan, 92, of Sedalia passed away November 1, 2015 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center, Sedalia, MO. She was born on March 9, 1923 in Clarksburg, MO the daughter of Alfred and Alpha (Simmers) Stinson, who preceded her in death.

On June 27, 1947 in Clarksburg, MO she was united in marriage to Lester R. (Jack) Vaughan, who preceded her in death on August 16, 2012.

Martha was a member of First Baptist Church, Sedalia. She enjoyed sewing and needle point. But most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by three children, Eddie Vaughan (Joyce) of Sedalia, Stanley Vaughan (Kathy) of Sedalia and Larry Vaughan (Debbie) of Cole Camp; five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ned Stinson.

Funeral services will be held at Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Sedalia with Rev. Marlin Brown officiating.

Burial will be at Hickman Cemetery, Clarksburg, MO.

Pallbearers will be Ron Cunningham, Owen Fox, Eldon Kreisel, Don Hofheins, Warren Preuitt and Mike Smethers.

Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church, Sedalia in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
