Jerry Wayne "Bud" Dawson, II, age 52, of Glen Rose made his journey to Heaven on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Arkadelphia. He was born June 20, 1963, in Benton, to Jerry Wayne Dawson I and Patricia Ann Speer Dawson. Jerry graduated from Glen Rose High School in1981 and was a member of Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Blann and O'Dell Dawson and Dalton and Mable Speer and great-grandparents, Florence Dawson and Roy and Luna Hendrix.

Survivors, parents, Jerry and Patricia Dawson; sons, Caleb Dawson (Karissia) of Glen Rose and Benjamin Dawson of Hot Springs; sisters, Johnette Green (Michael) of Glen Rose, Mischelle Dawson of Amity and Melett Fox (David) of Benton; nephews, Jacob Caddy (Hope) of Glen Rose, Rachel Caddy of Glen Rose, Tyler Farley of Benton; nieces, Megan Cash (Nick) of Glen Rose and Catherine Farley of Texas; great nephews, Jaxon Caddy, MaKinley Cash and Makenna Cash and many cousins and special friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 6 from 1:00-2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be Friday, November 6 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Tony Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Caddy, Allen Carver, Tyler Farley, David Fox, Michael Green and Jimmy Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be Jaxon Caddy, MaKinley Cash and Makenna Cash.
