Harry C. Evans, 90, Oakhurst died about 8:30 a.m. today in Jane Lamb hospital, where he had been a patient for several weeks.
The body is in the Bragonier-Fay chapel where services will be held about 4 p.m. Thursday. Dr. Bruce McCullough will officiate and burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
Mr. Evans was born Dec. 1, 1858, in the north end of Clinton, the son of John and Katherine Evans. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church and a retired employee of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy railroad.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John G (Ethel) Beall, Travers City, Mich., Mrs. Melvin (Marjorie) Locke, Pekin, Ill., and Mrs. Grace Evans Weih of Clinton; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and an only son.
