Mrs. Katie Bell Rushing Collins, 88 of Clinton, passed away Monday, November 02, 2015 at 5:10 AM at Clinton Place. She was a member of New Chapel Methodist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Jerry W. Rushing of Clinton, daughter, Kathie Rushing Ward (Steve) of Clinton, brother, Robert Neal Black of Clinton, 5 grandchildren, Jonathon Randall Rushing of California, Edd Walter Rushing of the Philippines, Stephanie Carter, Kris Templeton and David Randal Ward all of Clinton, and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Myrtie Adams Black, her first husband, Charles Walter Rushing, her second husband Clarence Collins, daughter, Sondra Joy Stairs, an infant son Johnathon Wendell Rushing, 1 sister and 7 brothers. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 4. 2015 at 1:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton, with Rev. Stan Waldon officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.
