Services for Margie Giles, 75, of Big Spring, Texas, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with Dr. Mark Moore Officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.

Ms. Giles passed away October 30, 2015, in Midland, Texas. She was born in Handley, Texas to Jasper Newton and Rosa Morales Williams.

Margie was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Canton. She grew up in Arlington where she graduated from Arlington High School in 1958. She was an outstanding athlete in high school and loved to dance. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, reading, collecting cookie jars and traveling. Her greatest passion was children. Her grandsons affectionately called her "Gaga" and her Granddaughters Called her "Grannaw". After working many years in the Arlington and Fort Worth areas, she worked for many years in Canton, Van and Emory as a dietary supervisor.

Mrs Giles is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Giles; daughters: Valinda Giles and Patty Burns; son Patrick Giles; grandson, Kirk Young and three sisters: Doris Hooper, Dorothy Tamplin and Aline Young.

Margie is survived by her son and his wife, Tom and Maribel Giles of Big Spring, and their children: Amanda Davis, Ashlee Cosper, Tomi Gail Martinez, Jason DeVout, Gillian DeVout Carly DeVout, Presley Giles and Parker Giles; son-in-law, Philip Burns of Canton, and his sons: Paul, Brandon and Kyle Burns; step-daughter, Brenda Kay Guadian and her children: Lisa and Darla; step-daughter, Sharon Ann Salvas and her children: Terry, Alan and David; numerous great-grandchildren; and four sisters:

Ruby Welch, Paula Burgess, Janie Lassiter and Faye Carillo.

Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Burns, Kyle Burns, Presley Giles, Parker Giles, Philip Burns and Jason DeVout.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
