Caroline L. Elliott, 89, of Westmoreland, TN, formerly of Bremen, passed away at 9:45 am, Monday, November 3, 2015 in Portland, TN. Caroline was born on February 12, 1926, the daughter of the late August and Johanna (Wellhauser) Hausser. She is survived by two sons, Larry (Deb) Penrose of Bremen and Terry Penrose of Westmoreland, TN; five grandchildren, Bryan Penrose of Wakarusa, Brandy (Rob) Bellman of Bremen, Brett (Mindy) Penrose of Plymouth, Kate Young of Springfield, TN and Jacob Penrose of Mankato, MN, and four great grandchildren, Nola Penrose, Brynlee Penrose, Ciara Bellman, and Emmie Bellman. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Caroline was a 1943 graduate of Bremen High School. She worked for many years as a teller in the former Bremen State Bank, which is now First Source. She retired in December 31, 1987 after serving at the bank for 44 years. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Friday, November 6, 2015 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 7, 2015 in the funeral home. Rev. Bob Lengerich will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
