William Henry Harrison Peck served , credited to Vermont, in the Civil War.He enlisted May 2, 1861, and was mustered in as a corporal in Co. H, 1st Vermont Infantry; mustered out August 15, 1862. Then commissioned 1st Lieut. in Co. E, 5th Vermont Infantry. Wounded at Savage's Station June 29,1862; promoted to captain of Co. I July 24,1862; transferred to VRC August 10, 1863; mustered out of service September,1867.
